NYC: JULIE REYBURN WITH GUEST MILES PHILLIPS AT URBAN STAGES
Julie Reyburn brings a special show, "So Many People . .a Sondheim Concert" toURBAN STAGES (259 West 30th Street, NYC - 212 421-1380) on Thursday, December 9th at 8:30 pm. Her special guest is the multiple award winner, Miles Phillips with musical direction by her longtime collaborator Mark Janas. Julie will present selections from A Little Night Music, Merrily We Roll Along, Follies, Evening Primrose..and more. Mark Janas will present a special "classical corner" on the West Side Story collaboration of Bernstein and Sondheim. Phillips will step out of his "self-imposed semiretirement" from singing to join sing a few songs in the show. Julie and Miles have been great friends for years, they both worked with Mark Janas. Julie was Miles' special guest at Feinstein's, recently, and they've each worked with Mark over the years, but this is the first time since 2000 that they've all been working on the same project.
