L.A.: EMILY BERGL IS KIDDING ON THE SQUARE
Emily Bergl and acclaimed musical director and pianist G. Scott Lacy return to THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444 ) with "Kidding On The Square" on Saturday, December 18th at 9:00 pm. Directed by Sarna Lapine, "Kidding On The Square" is a highly theatrical cabaret that brings the audience on a roaring 20s ride through love, heartbreak, and everything in between. It's an old fashioned evening of entertainment told from the perspective of a modern girl and the eccentric characters she inhabits. In her debut musical performance, Broadway, film and television star Emily Bergl will be joined by acclaimed musical director and pianist G. Scott Lacy, who creates a cabaret world that blends classic Fats Waller and Cole Porter hits with vintage takes on modern favorites from Roy Orbison to Madonna. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink or dinner minimum.
