Meri Kenaz is a female singer/songwriter difficult to box in one genre. She calls her authentic brand of Alternative acoustic music "Soul-Folk" and explains that its due to the spiritual and deeply rooted lyrics that touch the soul through its poetic, but sincere honesty, while telling stories that people can relate to. Her voice is simultaneously powerful and soothingly warm. Her music has been likened to Alanis Morissette and Leslie Rae Dowling among many other great artists.
