NYC: TONY-WINNING CADY HUFFMAN WITH "THE TREE OF LIFE"
Broadway's Cady Huffman returns toBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080 - ) on Monday, August 2nd at 7:00 pm with her show "The Tree Of Life." This event will be part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series. Cady Huffman (Tony winner for The Producers), along with renowned saxophonist Michael Hashim, celebrate, challenge and sometimes twist into oblivion traditional jazz with their musical collaboration. "The Tree Of Life" is a tribute to the loves, lives and losses that have shaped their love of music. Joining Huffman and Hashim on stage will be Ed MacCeachen on guitar, Kelly Freisen on bass and Willard Dyson on drums. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
