Winner of the 2010 MAC Award for Outstanding Male Vocalist, NYC cabaret performer Hector Coris presents the final NYC performances of the acclaimed debut solo show which earned him the 2010 MAC Award for Outstanding Vocalist: Life is Wonderful, at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) on Wednesday, July 7th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, July 10th at 7:30 pm. In his debut solo show, Hector explores the musicality of mortality through the words and music of Ben Folds, Kander and Ebb, Zoe Lewis, Susan Werner, Brett Kristofferson, David Caldwell, My Chemical Romance, William Finn and other contemporary songwriters. Musical direction is by Ray Bailey, with direction by Angela Shultz. Dale Henderson joins on cello. "Life is Wonderful" premiered in May 2009 at the venerable cabaret nightclub, Don't Tell Mama.
