McGillin holds the title of world's longest running Phantom in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Rebecca Luker recently appeared as Winifred in the original Broadway production of MARY POPPINS. Linda Eder has been forced to cancel her engagement at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) originally scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday, January 22nd through 26th due to illness. Her appearance has been rescheduled for the spring. Broadway star Marin Mazzie will replace her. Performances are scheduled for January 22nd at 8:30 pm; 23rd & 24th at 7:00 pm; 25th at 8:30 & 11:00 pm; 26th at 8:30 pm. Mazzie returns in an encore engagement of her acclaimed show that she premiered at the venue in September. Marin Mazzie burst onto Broadway in Big River, and throughout a brilliant career that has included creating leading roles in Passion and Ragtime, to her celebrated and much-lauded performances in Kiss Me, Kate, Man of La Mancha, Spamalot and, just recently, Next to Normal and Carrie, three time Tony nominee Marin Mazzie is considered among the brightest lights on Broadway. Marin's extensive concert/cabaret career has taken her across the country from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl, from The Russian Tea Room to the Cinegrill. Her special new show, "Bridges" was inspired by the song by Brazilian composer Milton Nascimento. Her all-star trio will feature Ted Rosenthal at the piano, Martin Wind on bass and Tim Horner on drums. "Bridges" explores songs about how people connect and move beyond their differences, inhibitions and fears. Ann Hampton Callaway is one of the leading champions of the great American Songbook. Her gifts as a singer, pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger, actress, educator, TV host and producer have given her one of the most unique careers in music today. Culled from Broadway, rock 'n' roll, pop and country sources, these are the musical equivalents of emotional earthquakes. Originally hailing from Cape Cod, MA, multi-talented young songstress Dawn Derow began performing at age 8. Ms. Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. Annie Ross is one of the pioneers of vocalese and the composer of "Twisted", one of the most well known examples of that art, as well as "Farmers Market", "Jackie" and many others. A founding member of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, considered the greatest jazz vocal ensemble of all time, her influence is present in all subsequent practitioners of vocalese. "Twisted" has been recorded by a host of vocalists, including some not normally associated with jazz, including Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to present two-time After Dark Award winning singer/actor Stephen Wallem (best known as Thor on Showtime's "Nurse Jackie") toBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) in Schwartz and All, on Monday, January 21st at 7:00 pm. Schwartz and All is a tribute to the music of Broadway and Oscar-winning composer Stephen Schwartz in honor of his sixty-fifth birthday. Featuring direction by Tony Humrichouser and musical direction by Beckie Menzie, Schwartz and All celebrates the popular and more obscure works of the legendary composer including music from Godspell, Wicked, The Magic Show, Pippin, The Baker's Wife, Personals, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Children of Eden. Wallem offers traditional takes on some songs along with a few in his signature irreverent style. Schwartz and All was originally produced at Davenport's Piano Bar and Cabaret in Chicago. Harnar recently was awarded the 2012 Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award, as well as two MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) Awards and three Back Stage Bistro Awards. This new show - featuring Music Director Lawrence Yurman on piano, Jered Egan on bass and Ray Marchica on drums - will highlight the wit of Noel Coward, Cole Porter, Sammy Cahn, Comden & Green, Tom Lehrer, Allan Sherman, Stan Freberg, Rick Crom, Larry Kerchner, Francesca Blumenthal and more. Harnar has made appearances at the Carnegie Hall, the Oak Room, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, The Metropolitan Room, Town Hall, and has hosted three seasons of The American Songbook in London at The Jermyn Street Theatre.
