Their CD, B2 "Live" showcases their distinctive approach to timeless classics such as When You Wish Upon a Star, and That's Life. Bill MacLean has been a part of Toronto's folk/ acoustic music scene for many years, as a singer/ songwriter, guitarist, and bassist. His solo career saw the release of A Frame of Time, which features the self-penned song, Lay Me Down Easy, now part of the B2 repertoire. MacLean is also the bassist for the Ian White Band (Wonder Grows). The inheritance of his mother's collection of Frank Sinatra recordings opened his musical eyes and ears to an entirely new direction of vocal performance. An appearance with the Mississauga Swing Band at an open mic concert demonstrated that Bill is as comfortable fronting a swing band, as performing solo with his guitar. Performing with Brian Stevens has allowed MacLean to explore this vast American Songbook collection with a new perspective. Together they have created a polished and consistently elegant sound that has charmed audiences wherever they have performed. There is a $10 cover.
