Here's what we're doing at CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE right now to promote the art & artists of cabaret:
DAILY POSTING - of that day's events on the home page of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE (6000-8000 page visits a day) with a special reminder that the page has been changed sent via Twitter, FaceBook, and Google+. Also I choose 3 to 6 recommended events of the day and post them on the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE BLOG (300 visitors a day) - http://cabarethotlineonline.blogspot.com/ - and announce the blog postings on Twitter (1000 followers), FaceBook (1600+ followers), and Google+ (200}+ in my circles).
TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAY POSTINGS: All events running ads on the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE website get one additional posting per week on the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE BLOG - and the postings are announced on Twitter, FaceBook, Google+.
REVIEWS - POSTED WHEN RECEIVED - we announce via the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE BLOG (and Twitter, FaceBook, Google+), and also via the CABARETSINGERS Yahoo list, the addition to the website of Sue Matsuki's and Mona Finston's articles and reviews.
RETWEETS DOZENS OF TIMES A DAY: I keep track of any cabaret-related postings that I feel appropriate on my 4 TWITTER streams and re-Tweet the ones I feel important (I try to limit the re-tweets so as not to annoy my followers). All "tweets" made to my http://twitter.com/cabarethotline account are automatically posted on my FaceBook "wall".
TWICE WEEKLY NEWSLETTERS - sent FREE to over 3400 subscribers on Mondays and Thursdays via e-mail.
SATURDAY MEMBERS ONLY newsletter sent to over 350 members (also listing shows offering discounts for the next 10 days) via e-mail.
And I've only just begun!
