MANHATTAN-HENGE TONIGHT IN NYC

Twice a year, the sun aligns with the east-west grid of city streets as it sets, creating a modern-day 'Stonehenge effect' in Manhattan. The setting sun lines up perfectly with the cross streets – as it aligns with the stones on the solstices of Stonehenge -- creating an ethereal glow down the island's concrete canyons. Sunset is at 8:17 p.m. You must be north of 14th Street.
